Announcing an exciting new look celebrating our proud Scottish heritage.

It’s more than 125 years since founding father Joseph Walker fired up the ovens of our family’s Scottish highland bakery with a desire to bake the best.

Family recipes handed down five generations help us to continue to wow the world with the best of Scotland. But we are no strangers to innovation either, sourcing only the finest ingredients to create unique flavour combinations and taste sensations at our Speyside home.

While our packaging is new, our all-butter shortbread is still baked to same delicious recipe you know and love using only 4 ingredients; butter, flour, sugar and salt.

Refreshed are 24 of Walker's carton’s and snackable mini bags, as well as our Food Service range which is available worldwide. Our core range includes classics like the iconic all-butter Shortbread Finger, our signature Shortbread Highlander, Thistle Rounds, and Chocolate Chip Shortbread - the recipe for which has been passed down for 125 years.

The new range also features an array of Gluten-free options like our Lemon & Ginger Shortbread, a delicious combination of sweet and spicy mixed in an all-butter bake, and Gluten-free Chocolate Chip Shortbread Rounds.

The iconic Walker’s tartan design, recognised worldwide as a symbol of Scotland at its finest, is based on the tartan of Clan Grant. Our home, Aberlour, sits at the heart of the “country of the Grants”, on the banks of the River Spey, whose pure, fast-flowing waters are represented by the blue threads running through our tartan.

The fertile lands and ancient forests synonymous with Speyside are symbolised by green, with the gold a nod to the five generations of Walker family members baking the best of Scotland since 1898, and the red representing our passion for sharing it worldwide.

The new Walker’s logo is taken from an original company delivery van, honoring the brand’s 125-year-old history.  The full logo lockup is made up of four elements, the Walker's tartan ribbon, our Royal Warrant, our wordmarque and locator.

The signature of Joseph Walker, the founder of the company and the creator of the original recipe still used today, has been redrawn and reintroduced as part of the brand identity.

Provenance, quality and heritage are central to Walker’s and we are proud that our past inspires our future.

Cheers to Scotland at its finest.
