WHAT TO EXPECT

The Royal Highland show is celebrating its 177th anniversary in 2017, and this year’s show promises to be an extraordinary one.

We would recommend that you choose practical clothes, wear layers and make sure you keep warm and dry as many events are outside without cover.  Here comes the sales pitch… a Walkers umbrella could come in handy to protect you against the rain and we can help with this!

It is a good idea to wear sturdy footwear, preferably waterproof. The Royal Highland Show brings together farming, food and the countryside, and it is a wonderful chance to experience the Scottish rural industries. There will be over 5,000 live animals on show, including top quality pedigree livestock and horses. Machinery displays and demonstrations, food stalls, competitions, entertainment and music are all exciting parts of the show, which has plenty to offer for the whole family.
