Royal Warrant

Walkers Shortbread Ltd has been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment from Her Majesty The Queen for the supply of Shortbread to the Royal Household.

Proud to have been awarded the Royal Warrant from Her Majesty The Queen in 2002, for its Scottish Oatcakes, the latest accolade has been warmly received by the family-owned firm which has traded from the Speyside village of Aberlour for over a century.

Four times winner of the Queen's Award for Export Achievement, Walkers exports its distinctively packaged luxury bakery products to over 100 countries worldwide. Baked using traditional methods and the finest ingredients, Walkers Shortbread has a longstanding baking heritage to ensure the same undisputable excellence that is globally recognised.

The Walkers Shortbread range includes a variety of products from the traditional Pure Butter Shortbread Finger to Highlander Shortbread and more recently new Chocolate Shortbread and Miniature ranges.

Welcoming the announcement, Joint Managing Director Jim Walker said,

‘We are delighted and very honoured to have been awarded a Royal Warrant of Appointment as Supplier of Shortbread to Her Majesty The Queen. We receive this accolade with great pride and gracious gratitude that our traditional values and products have been recognised by the British monarchy’

Walkers Shortbread has been used in the Royal Household for several years, following the granting of the Royal Warrant by the Queen and the Queen Mother in 2002 for oatcakes.
